Hi there, I’m Nusrat Mir. I’m a Digital Accessibility Specialist & Designer, educator, community strategist, artist, and aspiring potter and poet — grounded in anti-oppressive practice, trauma informed care, access informed approach and passionate about making information and experiences more accessible, welcoming, and creative.

A Muslim Canadian-Bangladeshi woman of color smiles widely at the camera. She is wearing a blue hijab and a floral dress with a black cardigan. She is standing outside with a background of blurred green trees and a black fence.

I’ve always been drawn to the question:

How do we make things easier to understand, easier to use, and easier to trust — without losing beauty?

That question shaped my path through design, communication, and inclusion-focused work. Today, through Sun Center Creatives, I build websites and visual systems that help clients show up with clarity and I integrate accessibility thinking so more people can fully and meaningfully engage with what you’re offering.

My work blends inclusive digital design and accessibility (AODA/WCAG) with community-centered facilitation, relationship-building, and thoughtful communication. I’ve supported accessibility initiatives, events, audits, and accessible communications across education and community settings, and I bring that strategic + relational lens into every project I lead and support.

My background spans digital design, web design, inclusive communication, and community-rooted work. I’ve worked across roles and projects that blend strategy + storytelling + structure, supporting teams that care about impact, equity, and meaningful engagement.
